I went to a regional conference of the Economic Development Administration in May, and it was really interesting for a variety of reasons, but it was downright inspiring to see what New Orleans did and is doing after Katrina. It made me realize that as long as the collapse doesn't happen all at once, each little piece that collapses provides creative, awakening people to re-vision and build something healthier, more inspired, and ultimately more in line with Reality.
